We love to see that needlepointing is finding new life with the younger generation, but we’re seasoned stitchers here at Wallace & Co.! Sharon has been stitching for over 40 years, and has an extensive skillset and knowledge of materials.

Sharon has always painted her own canvases, and it was during the height of the pandemic (when there were no weddings to make invitations for) that she began to share her personal needlepoint projects on social media.

She shared items such as the dog collar and keychains she was working on, but when she posted a picture of the Tennessee Theater canvas she was graphing, people began to request that she sell her canvases.

Sharon began to make other canvases of local landmarks (click below to see which ones!), and between the summer and fall of 2020, she’d rearranged the shop and the needlepoint supplies started to arrive.
